Why should I have my book repaired?

There are multiple reasons why our customers have their books repaired:

To prevent further damage

To pass your book(s) on to your family

To preserve them for further use

To repair or replace what has unfortunately been lost due to:
pet damage, being dropped, being run over, being ripped in half, child marking and tearing, glue, or tape.

Do you repair family Bibles?

What is the cost to restore, repair, or rebind my book?

Most book repair projects run anywhere from $165-$235 with the exception of family Bibles, which typically include an additional cost due to the large size and intricacy. {View all our book repair prices.}

Can the original covers of my book be saved?

In most cases we are able to salvage the original book cover, although the corners and edges will likely need repair. Typically the original spine is too weak to be rebound so we recommend having it rebacked. {View all our book repair services.}

Can you provide a cost estimate to repair my book?

Every book repair project we work on is custom quoted for only the repairs your book needs. We provide cost estimates over the phone or via email. In order to determine an accurate quote, please include a detailed description with book dimensions as well as photos with your email. How long will it take to repair my book?

Unlike other book repair companies, your book will be repaired in two weeks or less, unless stated otherwise. We often have your book repaired in seven to ten days. You may call anytime to check on the progress of your book.

Do you rebind new books?

In many cases, customers wish to have their new book rebound into a finer cover. We can create a custom cover to match your desires.

Do you repair large books?
We are able to repair and restore all types of large format books from family Bibles to historic books, to atlases. {View examples of our repair services.}

Do you repair old books?
Having worked on some books that date back to the 1500s, we are highly skilled in repairing and restoring older books. Books over 50 years old are typically more fragile and have sustained more damage than newer books and require more time to repair. Even after an older book has been repaired, it is important to handle them with care to ensure they are preserved for future generations.
